This is an older piece of knitting from my collection. I made this shawl to wear with my Steampunk outfits.
I used a Sport Satin yarn, though I don't remember exactly which one. This is a double wide version of
this knotted openwork scarf pattern, though obviously I used a heavier yarn. The pattern was relatively simple and I loved working with the yarn that I used. I'm very happy with the result and I used the pattern again for one of the scarves in my Christmas knitting. Yes, I am finally finished with the Christmas knitting. All that's left is to weave in a few ends.
